CLINTON'S TRUE LEGACY

Before Bill Clinton, America's political question was "what does it cost"? Now, it is "what is sex"? Or maybe, what is the definition of is in "what is sex"? Sorry, couldn't resist. Bill Clinton and his co-conspirator/co-president Hillary haven't so much debased America's political culture as mutated it into a new form. Several things are in clear focus as the United States heads into the final year before the year 2000 happens. Generally speaking, the world situation is akin to a airplane having already been broken apart at 30,000 feet. Everyone on board realizes they are toast, but no one is actually dead since the plane hasn't actually hit the ground-yet. The captain, Hillary Rodham, and her lovely cabin boy Bubba, er Bill, assure us that everything will be just fine. Honest. Trust us!

It is quite rational to view the Clinton administration as an "organized criminal conspiracy" as defined under the Federal RICO law. Bubba is a sociopath out to loot and pillage to the maximum extent allowed before he is physically restrained from doing so. The arrogant and methodical nature of this looting and pillaging, sort of a reverse Sherman's march to the sea, has done permanent, systemic damage to the body politic. For instance, everything is for sale in Bubba's administration, including a night in Lincoln's bedroom to Bubba's Hollywood glitterotti friends. Bubba really is an amoral, opportunist. A codling moth let loose in a warehouse full of apples to pick and choose from. Bubba and his mentally unstable wife, our modern version of the Biblical Ahab and Jezebel, have unleashed a flood of deceit, lies, arrogance and political treachery over the political system. America will be a long time cleaning up the debris from this sewage discharge called the Clinton Administration.

A second thing is that few in America care. Bill Clinton is popular because he accurately represents America in the late 90's. Which is to say, most Americans have divided life into neat little boxes where personal integrity doesn't matter until it impacts the economy. The same American majority which says it is ok for Bubba to be a creep and lout, and to lie about it under oath, will protest that they desire honesty and integrity in their own personal relationships. Apparently, most Americans think Bill's behavior isn't bad enough to be worth the effort of impeaching him. Like the Titanic, American integrity is thought to be unsinkable. At least until it met an iceberg called Bill and Hillary. The Roman historian Tacitus, describing Nero's reign, commented that the whole of Rome became permanently debased due to his spectacles and cruelty. The rot had reached the throne with lethal long term results for Rome.

Likewise, Bill and Hillary have destroyed the philosophical concept of being honest. And in doing so, they have been aided and abetted by corrupt media, business, intellectual and political elites blind to the consequences of this. This national desire to lie and cheat will have broad ranging and long lasting effects on American society in the future, especially when Y2k chaos hits in 13 months. Character is destiny said the ancient Greek Heraclitus. And a America which has no character, which accepts deceit and lies as normal political procedure, will soon have neither destiny or the global respect upon which our superpower status rests. Bill Clinton would be well advised to understand that moral authority is the foundation of political power. What the Chinese call the "mandate of heaven". Clinton is reduced to being parodied by Jay Leno on the Tonight Show and then trying to act presidential the next morning. Bubba is reduced to having the media prostitutes release data showing Thomas Jefferson slept with his slave hours before the election. Then Clinton hitched a piggyback ride, like some parasitic aquatic weed on a foreign tanker, to John Glenn's return to space while negotiating a Munich style MidEast peace agreement to look good before the election. What a pathetic creature our President and his power mad wife are. It will take a Shakespeare to do justice to their madness of the soul and the American people's dazed and numb acceptance of it.

The third area is the complete and utter collapse of any organized political opposition to Clinton and his policies in the United States. In power four years, Republicans couldn't even get rid of the obscenity laced National Endowment for the Arts. So much for smaller government. Nor did the Republicans challenge Clinton's numerous totalitarian executive orders, or his illegal, unconstitutional and now permanent troop deployment to Bosnia. In fact, the Republicans have done virtually nothing at all since they took over the Congress. It is now clear that a third political party is needed. One which is Populist in tone and will flush the toilet on Washington D.C. Interestingly, Jesse Ventura, new governor of Minnesota, harkens back nearly 100 years ago when populist fervor threatened the two party system. A broad based populist party, particularly after any Y2k disruptions, could be quite politically potent in November 2000, assuming Clinton doesn't try and declare martial law.

So much for Bill Clinton's true legacy. Buy gold and silver, since fiat money is now on its last legs. Is it just me, or anyone else notice the new 20's look and feel like food coupons? Besides, the Eurodollar will be the new fiat paper money on the block within weeks. There are numerous trends nibbling away at the US dollar once the Euro is introduced. Even Castro wants to use the Euro as a means of getting back at the United States. And so my President has left his true legacy: a debased American nation, people, and economy ready for blending into the global megablob state. Except Bubba isn't my President and we'll see what happens to the New World Order in 1999.
