Gold Price Drops To 4-Week Low As U.S. Dollar Remains Strong
New York (Apr 26) Gold and silver prices are once again falling victim to a stronger U.S. dollar , as prices late Thursday morning have dropped to their session lows. Gold sunk to another four-week low. The U.S. dollar index is trading near its daily high and has hit another 3.5-month high today. June gold futures were last down $3.00 an ounce at $1,320.00.
By 12:30pm EST spot gold fell $6 to $1,317, while spot silver slid 9 cents to $16.50. Howerver, spot palladium bounced $7 to $979.
