Gold price trims overnight losses as U.S. stock market weakens

September 10, 2019

New York (Sept 10)  Gold has erased some of the solid overnight price losses in  mid-morning U.S. dealings Tuesday. The safe-haven metal has come up from its daily lows as the U.S. stock market has turned down. Would-be bargain hunters have also stepped in to "buy the dip" in gold prices. December gold futures were last down $4.60 at $1,506.50.
