Gold futures down 0.7% to Rs 30,334; sliver falls 1.3%

MUMBAI-INDIA (Sept 20)  Domestic gold and silver prices fell on Friday. October 2013 gold futures at the MCX were trading down 0.69% at Rs 30,334 per 10 grams at 12.46 p.m. It opened at Rs 30,422.

December 2013 silver futures at the MCX were trading down 1.29% at Rs 51,082 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 51,649. It opened at Rs 51,301.

In global markets, Gold futures for October 2013 went down 0.63% at USD 1,360.8 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

While Comex Silver futures for September 2013 declined 1.24% at USD 22.96 per troy ounce.
