New York (Apr 10)   Gold prices are trading modestly up and are at their session highs in late-morning action Tuesday. The yellow metal moved to its daily high as the U.S. dollar index hit its daily low. By 11:00am EST spot gold was up $5 to $1,339 as spot silver rose nearly 1% to $16.60. Meanwhile, spot palladium soared $25 to $958...even as spot platinum slid $8 to $927.
