US Dollar At 5-day High Against Canadian Dollar

Ottawa-Canada (Dec 29)  Reversing direction, the US dollar gained ground against the Canadian dollar in  Europe  on Monday.

The greenback strengthened to 1.1640 versus the loonie, its strongest since  December 24  , off early low of 1.1604. The pair ended Friday's trading at 1.1622. Further rally may take the greenback-loonie pair to resistance of around the 1.18 mark.
