Gold price further drops by Rs 1000 per tola
NEPAL (Sept 1) Price of gold continued to decline on the first trading day Sunday this week, trading at Rs 1,000 per tola (11.664 gm).
The bullion price is in a downward trend since last Thursday after hitting the record high of Rs. 63,300 per tola in the domestic market.
Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has fixed the price of the precious yellow metal at Rs 60,200 per tola for today.
The price had dropped by Rs 1,100 per tola and Rs 1,000 per tola on Thursday and Friday respectively.
The association fixes the price of the bullion following fluctuation in the price in the international market. The gold price is US$ 1391.20 per troy ounce in the international market.
Similarly, the price of silver also dipped by Rs 20 per tola to Rs 1,035 per tola today
