The New Gold-Eagle - Review of New Features!

Dear Gold-Eagle readers,

Since 1997 Gold-Eagle.com has been a top destination for those interested in gold and other precious metals. Over the years our site’s format had become less and less appealing to our demanding global readership. Last week we launched a fully redesigned Gold-eagle.com. We revamped the site from head to toe incorporating new features to make it the most essential site to both new and existing users who want to know what is going on in the markets, view spot prices and charts, read the latest editorials from top analysts, keep current on the latest news, and participate in engaging forum discussions.

If you have been a loyal reader of Gold-Eagle over the years, we thank you! We know this new design direction will require a bit of an adjustment from your routine. However, we are confident that you will find great value in the new simplified layout, ease of navigation, and innovative new features.

What’s New?

Navigation

Navigating all of the menu pages and features on the new Gold-eagle couldn’t be easier. At the top of EVERY page is a navigation bar with tabs to all of the main pages of the site. It’s always there no matter where you are within the site.

Precious Metals Charts

Gold-Eagle now has the most advanced, easy to read, precious metals charts out there. We store our own real-time data. The charts are automatically updated every 5 minutes. The large homepage chart has tabs across the bottom to change the historical view: 24h, 5d, 1m, 6m, 1y, 5y and Max.

At the top of the chart you can switch from Gold to Silver, Platinum, or Palladium. It’s a great way to quickly scan what all of the metals are doing. If you haven’t already, click around and give it a try!

A smaller version of the Gold chart can be found on the right panel of most pages of the site. For example, look at the right panel of this page.

Spot Prices

On the right column of the homepage you can view the latest spot prices for all 4 precious metals. Like our homepage charts, this data is automatically updated every 5 minutes. In addition, this spot price module can be found on nearly EVERY page on Gold-eagle. Look to the right side bar of any page, including this one, to quickly scan the latest prices.

The Latest Gold News

Clicking on the “News” tab at the top of the page will lead you to a timely page of the latest Gold and precious metals related news from major sources around the world. This news “feed” is continuously updated throughout the day to keep you on top of any relevant news impacting your investments and investment decisions. Check it often!

The Best Charts Page…ever?

We think so! By clicking on the “Charts” tab at the top of any page you will land on a page filled with all of the charts and quotes modules to answer your questions or get your bearing on the current state of the markets – all conveniently viewable from ONE PAGE. The top of this page contains a series of links that lead to specific sections down the page if you want to quickly get to one chart – HUI & XAU for example.
