Comex gold futures climb 0.4% to USD 1,314.50

NEW YORK  (Oct 7)   Gold and silver futures were trading higher on Monday in global markets. Gold futures for October 2013 went up 0.36% at USD 1,314.5 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Comex Silver futures for October 2013 went higher 0.20% at USD 21.750 per troy ounce .

In India, December 2013 gold futures at the MCX were trading up 0.88% at Rs 29,345 per 10 grams at 12.11 p.m. It opened at Rs 29,259.

December 2013 silver futures at the MCX were trading higher 1.01% at Rs 48,685 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 49,160.
