About:

Birch Gold Group has been in business considerably longer than the other companies on this list -  having opened their doors in 2003. During this time they have grown and maintained their stellar reputation in the industry and among customers. They are known for having high corporate standards for customer service, transparency, and ethics, as well as a team of financial professionals with significant expertise honed in top corporations in finance and tech. In fact, Birch Gold senior management includes several who serve on the well-regarded Forbes Finance Council. They are regularly featured on major news and media outlets including the Ben Shapiro show where they discuss the factors that lead to market instability and cycles of growth. With over 20 years in the precious metals business, Birch Gold has the ideal team to assist you with your portfolio diversification with gold and silver - as well as platinum and palladium.

Ratings & Reviews:

Birch Gold Group has received top ratings and reviews from many independent business review organizations that provide consumers with a high level of confidence when making their financial decision. They have an A+ rating on Better Business Bureau, a 4.8 rating with Consumer Affairs, an AAA rating from Business Consumer Alliance (their highest rating), and a 4.7 Trustpilot rating.

Fees & Storage:

Birch Gold requires a minimum of $15K to establish a gold IRA.  To set up the IRA custodian there is a standard $50 set-up fee.  For wire transfers, there is a $30 fee. One of Birch Gold’s differentiators, however, is a flat fee structure: the annual storage is $100 and the annual maintenance fee is $80.  In other words, Birch Gold will not charge you at different percentages based on the value of your assets. These fees include a $1 billion all-risk insurance policy from Lloyd’s of London. For those transferring over $50K, there are no fees for the first year. Lastly, Birch Gold frequently offers additional promotions such as $10,000 in free precious metals - so be sure to inquire if there is one available for you now.

For your account custodian Birch Gold uses primarily the well-regarded Equity Trust and STRATA Trust companies but is also willing to work with others if you have a preference. For secure precious metal storage you have 2 options: Delaware Depository or Brink’s Global Services. There are some differences between the two so be sure to discuss these differences with your Birch Gold representative.

Support & Service:

Given Birch Gold Group’s rigorous adherence to being transparent, ethical, and backed by 20 years of experience in the precious metals industry, you can expect a high level of support and service. Their unique flat fee structure provides the simplicity we appreciate while their knowledgeable staff guide you through every step of the process. Lastly, their website is one of the best in terms of educational materials including great interviews with leading figures.

Birch Gold Group is endorsed by Ron Paul, Ben Shapiro, Michael Savage, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Lou Dobbs, and many others.
