Comex gold futures down 0.5% to USD 1,317.3

NEW YORK (Oct 9)  Gold and silver futures were trading lower on Wednesday in global markets. Gold futures for November 2013 down 0.53% at USD 1,317.3 per troy ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

However, Comex Silver futures for November 2013 down 0.57% at USD 22.29 per troy ounce (12.38 p.m.).

In India, December 2013 gold futures at the MCX were trading down 0.59% at Rs 29,443 per 10 grams at 12.27 p.m. It opened at Rs 29,601.

December 2013 silver futures at the MCX were trading down 0.84% at Rs 49,530 per 1 kg after hitting high of Rs 49,875. It opened at Rs 49,860.
