Gold rates up by Rs200/tola

According to data released by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, gold rates in the local market moved up to Rs109,300 per tola.

Similarly, 10 gram gold went up by Rs171 to Rs93,707.

In the international market, however, gold rates decreased by $1 to $1,782 per ounce.

Silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,420 per tola. Price of 10 gram silver also stood at Rs1,217.42.

Local jewellers said that the cost of gold in the local market was higher by Rs1,000 per tola as compared with the Dubai gold market.
