Gold Weaker Amid Better Risk Appetite, Firmer US Dollar Index

New York (Apr 4)  Gold prices are weaker to start the trading week, Pressured by better risk appetite in the world market Place recently and by a firmer U.S. dollar index on this day. Global stocks were mixed in quieter overnight trading. Chinese markets were closed for a holiday. U.S. stock indexes are pointed toward slightly higher openings when the day session begins in New York.
