Gold Price Slips To Daily Lows As U.S. Dollar Index Pushes To 6-Mo. High

New York (May 25)  Gold prices have come under some modest selling pressure and are trading near their daily lows in late-morning action Friday. The U.S. dollar index has pushed to solidly higher levels on the day and has reached another six-month high, which is working against the precious metals markets. June gold was last down $1.80 an ounce at $1,302.60.
